Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support? Smile

@dragon I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. What a shit time. Stay strong and rant away if it helps. We're here.

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 10:44

Thank you all. I really appreciate it.

DP is taking it hard. He thought miscarriages and complications were rare and can't understand why this has happened once yet alone potentially twice. I've told him that unfortunately a lot of us experience this but he's so upset

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 10:51

You see this don't you?! Just did another one, yes I am crazy, and have a darker bfp than before! Still bleeding.

Ignore the wrapper on the floor Shock

I can't really see anything. All I will say with first response tests is that they have terrible indent and evap lines. I had 6 last month that were very very convincing. The one I took this morning is similar to that too xx

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 11:02

Fia its more visible in person. I've never had an evap on first response before and it came up within the time limit but who knows. It's a pale line though so I'm unsure.

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 27/08/2017 11:27

I can see a tiny hint of a line on this dragons. What cycle day did the bleeding start on? Did you test with a frer after your mc? Could it be that you used a less sensitive test after MC that gave you a bfn and this is just a bit of your previous hcg it's picked up? How many weeks along were you last time and how recently was the mc?

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 11:32

Bleeding started on CD17 or 18. Ovulated on day 9 or 10 I think. Started with leaking boobs on day 15, as well as huge veins and nausea and sickness.

I tested with a random cheapie after the miscarriage. I don't understand why I got a negative on first response this morning and then this. I'm still bleeding like a period but it's not painful or heavy (I have fairly light periods).

I was 9 weeks when I miscarried but the baby died at 7. I had surgery a month afterwards for retained products. This is the first cycle afterwards.

LADIES! I need your help before I go running down to my husband 😂

Can you see it?!? Or is it my eyes?

Bubble04 · 27/08/2017 11:43

@emilyjayne1990 I see it! Very faint but definitely there. Congratulations! Smile

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 27/08/2017 11:45

Looks like a BFP to me Emily!

Dragons - I think it's likely that this test is picking up your hcg from the mc. Frers are really sensitive. A few friends of mine had similar issues where the frers were coming up with faint positives weeks after their early Mcs. I'm really sorry. I know it's really tough. You might need to give yourself a few cycles to get back to normal as your hormones will be all over the place atm.

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 11:50

Emily that looks positive! Congrats!

Hopefully I'm wondering that. I'm so confused right now.

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 27/08/2017 11:53

It is really shit dragons.

Let this bleeding pass for a few days. If you still think something's up then try another frer in a few days. If the line is not significantly darker then you have your answer. You need to wait 2 days or so at least as it can take a while for hcg to double.

Please don't torture yourself with faint lines as you wouldn't likely have implanted and had a positive test 7 days post ovulation anyway - it's just not enough time to the levels to rise enough. Get this cycle out of the way and try some OPKs next month. Good luck x

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 27/08/2017 11:54

@DragonsandDungeons so sorry you're going through this. I got a bfn the other day on a FRER but the indent was very obvious and if looked a bit like this. Could there be a chance it's this and you're having a period? Be kind to yourself today!

@emilyjayne1990 that's looks like a bfp. Congrats!

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 12:02

Thank you. I think I'm going to do that. I thought it could be a period but it seems soon.

Do you think it's anything to worry about that I've got milk leaking? It seems really strange to me. I'm unsure if I should be worried

Springersprung · 27/08/2017 12:05

Joining all the other teachers on this thread! 5dpo, cycle #6 ttc #1.

Going mad symptom spotting already. Trying to remind myself that 1) I almost certainly haven't implanted yet, 2) when I got my bfp before (mmc @ nearly 12 weeks), I basically had no symptoms, bar a few odd lower abdominal tugs.

PabloEscobarlo · 27/08/2017 12:06

I think I had implantation spotting a few days ago. Can anyone tell me on the internet cheapies how close together are the positive lines please x

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 27/08/2017 12:08

@DragonsandDungeons I wonder if that's maybe a symptom still from your mc? Hopefully your body and cycles will settle soon. Thinking of you though. It must be so tough. Flowers

Poptart4 · 27/08/2017 12:08

Sorry @dragons but I can't see any line on that test or the first test you put up the other day. I don't want to come across as harsh but I don't want to give you false hope either as I think that's just cruel. With the bleeding and the negative tests I think it's clear your not pregnant this month. I'm really not trying to upset you, I know how upsetting it is to get your hopes up only to have them dashed :(

Springersprung · 27/08/2017 12:09

@dragonsanddungeons sorry you're going through this. I agree with pp, that there is a high chance the frer are picking up residual hormones from your mc. I have also been caught out by strong looking indent lines on them in the past.

Not sure about the milk, afraid I have no experience with that side of things

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 12:09

I think it might be. It seemed to stop, and then it's back, which is what made me think it was a new one.

God it's annoying. I bloody hate this. Miscarriages are the worst. I'm a type A person and all thiscwaiting and uncertainty drives me bonkers

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 27/08/2017 12:11

@DragonsandDungeons as @Poptart4 says, if it's not a mc then try to see it as a positive that your body is adjusting back to normal and you can start a fresh with your next cycle.

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 12:11

Poptart not negative at all, I also doubt I'm pregnant due to the bleeding. The tests are confusing me because I'm certain there's a line in person but I think what I'm seeing is a very faint line left over from the miscarriage as pp said

emilyjayne1990 · 27/08/2017 14:18

So now I'm totally confused. Took two cheap ones because my husband didn't believe the first one - both have faint lines. The second is fainter than the first.
Now I've just been out to get a clear blue digital and that says not pregnant! I was debating if I should have waited until morning or not but as I've used the cheap ones in the middle of the day, I thought it would be ok!
I've got 3 more, so I guess I'll test again first thing in the morning.

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 14:21

Digital tests aren't as sensitive Emily. How many dpo are you?

With my son I used to panic because it used to say 2-3 weeks when I was 6 weeks (took it because I was bleeding). He was perfectly healthy.

For an update on my situation, I'm now cramping so I think this is AF. I suppose weird cycles after ERPC are to be expected. I am still freaked out by the return of my pregnancy symptoms though.
