A bit confused

A little about myself. I suffer with pcos and a couple of months ago I suffered a chemical pregnancy. Unsure of when I ovulate and there's two weeks between we dtd (busy work schedule) I took a test last week on a first response and there was a very faint line. So decided to leave it almost a week and no shops near me had any pink ones so I had to go to the shops own brand blue one (had these before when I wasn't pregnant and there was never a faint line or line appear) took one yesterday and one today along with a cb digital. Both normal test came back with a line but the 8db digital came back negative so I'm confused. Can anyone else see a line and why did the cb come up negative?

All pics was taken within the time frame.

The 2nd test is positive.

The digital tests are much less sensitive and often show false negatives.

Looks like congratulations are in order!

I'm going to get another test tomorrow and go from there. We've been trying for a year and one chemical pregnancy and got an appointment with the gyno to have test done but looks like I dont need to now :)

I agree, digital are less sensitive. Looks like congratulations are in order! Maybe see if you can find some pink dye tests and test again?

Whatagirltodo123 · 20/08/2017 15:29

I'm going up town tomorrow so I'll see if there's any there. Everywhere by me are sold out or don't do them.

I really do hope its a positive. It'll be amazing :) I was feeling queazy last night and can't stop eating. Last time when I was pregnant with my son I could eat huge meals and still be hungry (that's why I thought about doing another test) and this morning my nipples have been so sore too

How many days late are you / how many days after ovulation? Unfortunately the blue dye tests you show are famous for evap lines, particularly the skinny sort. Fingers crossed for you!

Whatagirltodo123 · 20/08/2017 16:15

I dont know when I ovulate or when I'm due as the last two periods was induced with tablets. But I did do a test for Ovulation 2 weeks on Tuesday. The line went dark straight away and we dtd 2 weeks ago tomorrow but we also dtd 5 weeks ago too so as I'm not sure if the ovulation test I done was right (doctor said not to trust them) it could be any if those dates.

I wish I knew when I ovulated but I can only know this by a blood test and the only way I can do it is with my gyne but my appointment isn't till the 11th September.

I would retest with a FRER brand test. None of those tests look like reliable positives unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong. Good luck!

Whatagirltodo123 · 21/08/2017 12:15

Think I can see a vvvvvfaint line

Is one of the first tests you did Sainsbury's ? With the positive?

Whatagirltodo123 · 21/08/2017 13:36

I had fair lines on my pregnancies as I was so early in testing. Clear blue are rubbish and have always shown negative for me! Most supermarkets and chemists have a good range of tests try a different brand! Good luck

Whatagirltodo123 · 21/08/2017 13:50

That's the first response I done today. I'm my last pregnancy the supermarket ones were the most reliable ones and every other ones didn't show up till 8 weeks

Sorry I can't see a line on those. When is your AF due?

Whatagirltodo123 · 21/08/2017 13:52

Haven't got a clue when I'm due

OP posts:
MouseLove · 21/08/2017 14:09

I would say that's a negative. I can't see any lines. You shouldn't need to invert any images to see a positive line.

Unfortunately Sainsbury's tests are renown for false positives, have a search on here and you will see lots of stories.

What cycle day is today? Do you know when you ovulated or when AF is due? You may be testing too early. X

Whatagirltodo123 · 21/08/2017 14:17

I'm unsure when I ovulated or when af is due as I have pcos. I feel tired all of a sudden and feel like I can be sick every single morning and evening.

I'll give it another week and try again x

Whatagirltodo123 · 22/08/2017 20:31

Thank you for all the replies. I'm going to leave it for a few days maybe a week then try again. I've got most of the symptoms so maybe its something else :)
