Sorry if there's already a thread about this but couldn't find it. Anyway a bit about me...

33, TTC #1, stopped taking pill in May 2016

Really getting p'd off with the whole ttc malarkey. Since last year it feels like everybody and their granny has gotten pregnant and I haven't had as much as a late period 😡

DH has a DS from a previous relationship so if there are any problems looks like most likely they will lie with me. Paid for a private scan back in Feb 2017 and no sign of cysts etc so that all checks out. Done plenty of OPK's which has shown peak but unfortunately still no BFP. Doctors are absolutely useless keep telling me to keep trying and come back in a few months.

Suppose I'm just on here for a rant and to hear about other people's experiences. Beginning to lose hope of ever having a baby of my own 😢

I've been TTC since May 16 too! I wasn't ovulating every month so I have been prescribed clomid. Am currently in my tww of cycle 2 of taking it. I know exactly how you feel about being pissed off with it all! I'm so up and down a lot of the time! Hoping the clomid is the answer for me though

That's good that your scan showed no cysts or anything. Have the GP not referred you to the fertility clinic? I had bloods done, DH had SA which came back all fine, I had a ultrasound and also a hycosy before they would prescribe me clomid so it's been a long process!

I'm so glad it's not just me who gets like that. I can be the happiest person in the world one minute and an absolute wreck the next. Docs have said they won't refer me until I lose weight. I'm only 2 stone overweight but for my height I don't look it so everything we've had done we've paid for ourselves. I'm just hoping that I'll get a BFP soon. Be keeping my fingers crossed for you as well. Heard lots of positive stories around clomid 👍🏻

Doctors aren't useless, they're being honest with you. You've gone for scans etc which show all is ok. You really can't be cross with the doctors, it's not their fault. I completely understand your frustrations, especially when it seems like everyone around you is conceiving. Your time will come, it really will. Focus on the positives, isn't it wonderful you know there are no issues, just time!! Best of luck xx
