My faint positive now looks really weird.....help!

Took a test today at 10DPO ( not FMU) and a faint line appeared. Tentivly optimistic as this is cycle ten for us.

I've gone to re look at the test 4 hours later and it's gone like this...darker line but skinny/thin.

Help! Any words of wisdom or hints as to what's going on? should I discount the earlier one? Is it a dud test?

When first taken

It's just dried out a bit, that's all. I'd test again though just to watch the line get a bit darker day by day, personally, although it's often not advised on here.

The test now

This looks like a BFP. I had exactly the same appearance in my previous pregnant. Tentative congratulations x

I would try and get a first response i would say it's negative the line is very thin and not in the centre. Good luck hope it is a bfp x

I think that's normal for those tests - I found it happened with mine, too, and as they got darker when testing over a few days the dried line got thicker. I would test again in a couple of days for your peace of mind, but I do think that's positive.

That's normal. The line ends up looking weirdly stronger when the test dries which is why those tests are notorious for evaporation lines.

That's a proper positive though as your first picture shows a line, even though it's quite faint.

You'll get a stronger, clearer line if you wait 48 hours. Or you should get a positive on a digital.
