Pregnant or cysts?

Hello all. So I am very regular every 28 days and now I'm 5 days overdue. I took a clearblue pregnancy test and have a very very faint line which on the paper classifies as pregnant (no matter how faint). I had a cheaper superdrug one so have just done that and it says not pregnant. I have very tender breasts and dull ache with in lower abdomen. I'm very worried I may have cysts due to the schedule in abdomen. Any thoughts on whether pregnant or not!.? I haven't mentioned this to a soul so feeling very alone right now! Thank you!!

Don't panic! If I were you I would take another clearblue test in another 5 days if AF doesn't show up. Could you have ovulated late this month? That's a common reason for a 'late' period, and your faint positive could have been an evap.

If the pain is indeed from a functional cyst such as a hemorrhagic cyst, it could well hurt a bit but will probably go away within a month or two and is nothing to worry about. They're a natural part of the ovulation process, and if one is found on an ultrasound you may not even be told about it unless it's quite large. (This is just in my experience. Do go see your GP if you feel something is wrong.)

Thanks RyvitaBrevis, I really appreciate the reassurance. I did an ovulation test so know roughly when I ovulated and it was at the usual point in my cycle. I feel like I'm going mad with all the hoping for pregnancy then disappointment. I shall just wait and do a test in another week or so. I don't think this is possible. However.. Do you know if you can ovulate then skip a period and ovulate again?

AF has arrived so I am going to be sending a complaint to clearblue regarding their unclear tests. Have you say I'm very shocked at how clear an evap line can be!

Sorry to hear AF has arrived! Argh, it's so frustrating and it's impossible not to latch on to hopeful signs. I think you should send a complaint, yes!
