What is going on?! Pregnant? Incomplete miscarriage?

Hello,

So I had a miscarriage on 6th of this month at around 5 weeks. The bleeding lasted about 4 days but very heavy with clots. Almost 1 week later (2days after bleeding stopped) I had unprotected sex. It's now only 1 week past that but I feel so pregnant! I feel really neauseated, tired, dizzy, needing to pee constantly. I've been pregnant before so know this is how I feel when in early pregnancy.

I haven't tested yet as it's still very early and I'm worried that if it comes up faintly positive I won't know how to interpret it anyhow, as it's less than 2 weeks since miscarriage and I know the hormones can stick around your system.

Questions:

  1. Is it even possible to ovulate within 10 days of a miscarriage starting?
  2. Is it more likely that the miscarriage was incomplete?
  3. What would you do?

I'm tempted to test on Monday. By then it will be more than 2 weeks since miscarriage so should be negative and if it's positive I guess I should get a scan to find out what's going on?!

Hi. So sorry for your loss.
When I had my miscarriage I went to the hospital for a scan to make sure it was complete. I would be getting in touch with your doctor and requesting a scan x

Yeah scan is the only way to be sure.

Although these symptoms could be a urine infection or anything.

Any strange smell or discharge? Any temperature? Abdominal pain?

That said, when this happened to me, I was pregnant again without having a period after miscarriage. Smile

So I took a quick test for interest and it came up negative. It was in the day. I think this is good in that it's less likely to be an incomplete miscarriage? So either early pregnancy (dtd less than a week ago) or just something else/me being crazy!
