After sex I seem to lose a lot of semen out of my vagina. I've tried propping myself up on pillows but it always seems to happen. Is this a big problem? Also is it best to orgasm before or after my husband ejaculates? Thank you Ladies xx

I wouldn't worry too much about losing some of it - men ejaculate 100's of millions of sperm each time and you only need one. There will always be some left up by your cervix therefore millions of swimmers. I admit I try the weird poses after to try to kept it all in but I think it just makes me feel like I'm doing something to help if that makes sense?

Sperm with get there regardless of your post sex position or orgasm timing if the timing is right. Worry about timing, not the above old wives tales. As Betsy said, there's hundreds of millions of sperm, many will make it every time regardless of what you do. The question is, is it the right timing.

Ha ha I literally have spent this week reading about this and trying to find a way to keep it all ... er....contained!
Lots of websites say that the seamen is only a transport mechanism for the sperm, as soon as it's up there (seconds to minutes) the sperm swims free from the seamen. So I wouldn't worry too much that it makes a soggy break for it as soon as you stand!
I guess the seamen is a bit like a bus all the little sperms get a lift on the bus but as soon as it reaches the bus stop they are like excited children and run off!
Hope this helps x

Thank you for replying! That's sooooo reassuring! Trying to pelvic floor every time I stood up after was not helping a single bit 😂😂
