Another demented person TTC!
My cycles have been between 23-27 days the last few months. I've been using a digital ovulation monitor this month and it never reached peak ovulation (tested up to day 25 when it went down to one bar) though a couple of days it didn't seem to work properly - showed an exclamation mark when it was time to remove the stick.
I'm now on day 30 and no AF but strong pre-menstrual symptoms - cramps and sore boobs etc since Sunday (day 27).
Many many many negative tests of various types including the really sensitive ones.
Is there any hope left for me? Has anyone got this far past due date for AF without getting a positive test?

Is he monitor new? If they're secondhand you need to reset them. If it's new, I'd give it one more month and then maybe head to the GP and tell them it suggests you're not ovulating?
I found my monitor brilliant but it would show highs and peaks for about 10 days a month - we'd shag on them all. I thought it was nuts but it did work.

It was mine used previously so I've re-set it. It seems to have worked fine on most of the testing days going up from one to two bars but then came down again without peaking. There were perhaps 2/3 days around day 16 ish where once the stick had been read it showed the remove stick sign and an exclamation mark above it. That suggests a problem but there's no choice to retest that day. Those days showed two bars fertility but I don't know if that's accurate?

Ah really tricky if you're getting the exclamation mark. Did you have enough wee on the stick? All you can do is try again next month. Sometimes we'd shag on the two bar days too if I thought they were maybe in the fertile range... Basically we shagged every month for about 10 straight days each time! I realise this isn't always sustainable but we were quite old and desperate for it to happen quickly (it did)
