How long does implantation bleeding last?

So I'm on day 3 of the lightest, pink streaks on my tissue every now and then when I wipe. I've not completely ruled out my AF coming as I'm not sure however I've had a few pregnancy symptoms such as nausea throughout the day and food aversions, and serious fatigue by 5pm! And also had some twinges and pulling sensations down below. However I'm not sure how long implantation bleeding can last, but usually at the start of AF it's really heavy (sorry for TMI!) and then goes lighter towards the end. Any advice? Thank you! Smile (due to test on Sunday)

If I'd blinked I would have missed mine. I was looking for it which is why I noticed it. I know other people have much longer bleed, everyone is different. I don't think you're really going to know until Sunday. Good luck!

Mine was literally one wipe then nothing else.

Il keep it updated - like I say I might be completely wrong and the dreaded AF has come but this time differently to my usual cycle, however along with the symptoms I've noticed I was just convinced! See what happens on Sunday Smile

The bleeding isn't constant just every now and then when I wipe and it's usually no more than the photo I attached. Strange!

You mentioned a pulling sensation, which is definitely something I noticed. It was odd. Also had quite intense period cramps too. It's a nightmare waiting!

Been to the toilet since and again nothing when I wipe so fingers crossed it is implantation! Just refuse to test until it's time as I don't want to get addicted to testing Blush haha

Hi MissSophie,
I know this might be coming late. But implantation bleeding usually last for about 2 days and it is an on and off spotting. It is not heavy like your normal period. Also the color can range from pink to dark brown.

I found loads of useful info on this website:

To me it looks like af is on its way. I have these pulling twinges in my side now and again too. The other symptoms you’re describing sound like regular PMS symptoms (which can vary each cycle or even be completely new and unusual) I don’t know many women who had implantation bleeding as it isn’t as common as people think but those I know who have had it said it was very light pink spotting that lasted maybe 24 hours maximum. Depending on when af is due, maybe just take a test anyway to put your mind at rest.
