Lighter/shorter (and earlier) period than usual

I'm so confused.

Af was due tomorrow; however on Friday morning I had bleeding when I wiped so thought it had come earlier. Got slightly heavier for about a day, and has been just v.light spotting since - nothing at all today. This is totally out of the ordinary - normally I come on the day it's expected, and is v.heavy for 2-3 days follower by 4-5 days of spotting.

Am I grasping at straws, or should I test tomorrow morning? After 18 months of TTC you'd think I'd know the answer by now....

There's no harm in testing... it won't change whether you're pregnant or not! Only a test can tell you and you know your body better than we do...

Good luck!!

And I totally get it, I've been ttc 17 months and it's all gone a bit crazy now.

Oh gosh really?! I thought it would get a "don't be stupid" response....now feeling a tad nervous!

Definitely test tomorrow. That was my experience when I conceived DD1. I actually remember saying to dh 'Well if that was my period, that was the lightest one I've ever had!' Sounds just like that to me.

It sounds like you had a short cycle and that will be why you had a light AF. I mean, you can test if you really want to, but it sounds completely logical that you could have had a normal short cycle. I have this also as I have a short luteal phase which means my lining doesn't get thick enough, hence my light AFs.

Good luck. I have my fingers crossed I'm wrong!! X

BFN, obviously.
