Should I test?

I've been off the cerelle mini pill for around 2.5/3 weeks and for the past few days I've been feeling slightly sick, always feel exhausted by 5pm even though I've not done much during the day and today I've noticed a slight bit of pink spotting on my tissue after going to the toilet (sorry tmi) I also have completely lost my appetite recently and never fancy anything to eat. According to my Ovia fertility app I'm not due to test for another 8 days - should I wait or could I test now? Thank you for any advice!Smile

Also - I have had a 8 day period just after I stopped taking the pill - i had been forgetting to take it quite often also so this is another reason why I completely stopped taking it.

I would wait until at least a month off the pill before you test. Your body may still be getting used to being off the pill so it'll be hard to know when you're due

Yeah - I believe I stopped taking around the 18/19th July however I can't remember the exact date Hmm but I always came on my period the same time each month with the pill even though it was supposed to reduce bleeding! If I go by this I'd be due on my period any time now.

No, don't test. Honestly it will take a while for your body to get used to not having the hormone. It took me 50 days to get my first real period. And if you're pregnant, you'll still be pregnant in a few more weeks. Try to relax and not fall into the trap of early testing at the start of your TTC journey. It could take a while. X
