Fertility period reduced

Hello everyone. I need some advice. Myself and my husband has been trying for 9 months.

According to the clear blue dual hormone tests I was having fertility periods of up to 13 days (I know, unlikely but that's what they said). Two months ago I started acupuncture and increased my intake of protein. And in these two months my fertility days have reduced to one day. Last month was one day of peak. And this month was one day of high.

Each month is getting more frustrating. I could really do with some advice?

Thank you everyone :(

Hi Polly, have you changed digi reader each cycle or used the same ones? It could be that if you're using the same one that it is judging on a different base level of oestrogen and therefore not seeing an increase for the flashing smileys?

It doesn't mean you aren't fertile for as long. All the dual hormone tests do is tell you a few days in advance that ovulation is coming, so you have the full 5 days (max time sperm can survive for) to get to it. You will still be fertile for that time whether the test picks it up or not. These tests drive me mad too though, I have the guessing game! Good luck.
