HOW many flashing smileys?!

Just wondering if anyone else had a cycle with an increased number of flashing smileys using the dual hormone clear blues?

I got my static on day 5 last cycle but this cycle I'm on my sixth day of flashing smiley and based on other signs not looking like ovulating any time soon!

Just wondering is this normal or am I looking at anovulatory, and interested in others experiences.

Ive never had a static smiley face of those tests and done three months of them! Not sure if im just not overlating or its the tests!

One time I had 9 days those annoying flashey smile! Wanted to smack them in the face! Lol

Hi OP, when we were TTC the number of flashing smiley days used to very each month! Sometimes two days, sometimes six. I conceived on the cycle I had many many days of flashing smileys so fingers crossed for you :)

littleonek could you start temping to confirm if you're ovulating maybe?

I tried for a few days and then forgot! Lol

Ive had issues with missed periods and now being investigated for pcos so im not fully trying until I know the results from my ultrascan next month to see if there are cysts on my overies. Since stopping the pill in Jan 2017 my periods have been non existent or super late so ive had no idea when im overlating.

Once my cycles are back to normal and i know if there are any issues i will do temping and the ovulation sticks.

Im doing clear blue sticks this week been three days so far and they havent shown any faces just a circle so im not sure if im overlating or not as ive also had some creamy discharge. Accoridng to my app im meant to overlate next Tuesday.

What time are you testing? Some tests say to test between 2pm-8pm. But I just watched the video for Clearblue and it says first thing in the morning? I'm on CD10 and plan to try this afternoon.

pixielove apparently it's first thing however once you get the flashing smileys you can test for the static any time of day.

Mine came on day 7 in the end, testing first thing in the morning.

Thanks @McTufty I'll try this afternoon though as missed this morning. Will just make sure I don't have anything to drink or go to the loo for three hours prior. And then from tomorrow I'll do it first thing in the morning.

think if you read the leaflet it say if you get something like 10 days of flashing smileys it says to stop testing that month as you wont get a static?

i used them for the first time last month, got 2 negatives, then 2 flashies then got my static. i started using them cd 11 i think with a 30 day ish cycle. got static cd15.
going give them another try this month - also says to test in morning which i find easier.

Does anyone know if your period could set off the clear blue sticks to show a flashing smiley face?

For two days ive had a flashing smiley face. Did the deed today and afterwards ive got light bleeding like the first day of a period. Very odd!

Im wondering if my period is randomly starting and the sticks picked up period hormones rather than ovulation ones.

Its ok I think this might be why!
