I have recently had my implant removed after husband and I decided to start ttc! (exciting times!!). Just wondered how long it has roughly taken others to resume a normal cycle before conception?

I had mine out in February.. took a lonnnng 7 weeks for my first period (felt like a lot longer!!!) and got our BFP last week so roughly 6 months it took us to conceive xx good luck! Xxx

oh congratulations!

Do you mind me asking how long did you have your implant for? Altogether I have been on the implant for 6 years and on the pill 4 years prior to that. So I probably haven't had a regular period for 10 years!

We took 6 months to conceive after the implant coming out - id had it for 6 years. Currently on second cycle TTC #2!!

I had periods on the implant. Can't remember if I ovulated the first month after taking it out (according to opks) but conceived the one after that.

Thank you ! Smile

I had two rounds but had the second one out early so had it for 5 years altogether and was on the pill for about 3 years before that. Xx
