Hello all! I am currently one week late for my period. Been taken tests and constantly got a negative until I tested today and got 3 v v v v v faint positives. I'm wondering if this is pos or not? Advice would be appreciated!

chowmeinchick · 08/08/2017 05:57

I would also say it's a positive. Congratulations x

fourtysixpercent · 08/08/2017 06:01

Yep, looks positive😀

emvy · 08/08/2017 09:51

I would also say that looks positive - congrats!

talonofthehawk · 08/08/2017 09:53

Positive but you've made the test invalid by opening it up.
Use a strip test if you insist on opening them.

Charlottiee · 08/08/2017 10:01

OOo looks good! Even the first one which you haven't opened looks positive to me!

C0untDucku1a · 08/08/2017 10:02

gabrielle1201 · 08/08/2017 11:44

Bit on the fence tho cuz I did a sensitive one and it didn't appear as clear x

emvy · 08/08/2017 13:37

The clarity of the tests don't determine whether things are developing normally. Don't read anything into that and try to relax x

gabrielle1201 · 08/08/2017 18:36

Okay. I'm a week late so I'm just assuming tests would be stronger but there are lines there so I will try relax, just surreal tbh' i don't feel a thing tbh!

The level of hcg in each individual can vary so much, as can the time it takes for implanation to take place, so it could be that happened later for you. Some people also don't show for many weeks after a missed period so I definitely wouldn't worry. Only worrying signs to look out for are intense cramping and bleeding of any kind. Other than that, take it that you're pregnant and test again in a few more days if you really feel necessary x

gabrielle1201 · 09/08/2017 10:44

I just feel like it the tests are not strong enough and the fact the doctor just took my faint positives as a positive just makes me uneasy as I don't even no if it was an evap or not. Took a very sensitive pink dye last night and got a line straight away though faint and now it is away. Took a CB and it said not pregnant. I'll attach them below. Just concerned.

My doctor did blood work cus I had this problem a while back ... I had no period for 3 months and tons of faint lines turns out I wasn't pregnant but only found out from the bloods and they were back in 2 days x

gabrielle1201 · 09/08/2017 12:28

Yeah, I might ask for bloods to be honest! X

The super drug first response tests are good, I had really faint squinty lines with Internet cheapies and a strong line on the superdrug ones. Also don't forget that no matter how faint the line it's almost impossible to get a false positive. However sometimes the lack of hgc in early pregnancy can indicate a problem which could result in MC. Try not worry yet though and see if the line gets stronger in 48 hours.

gabrielle1201 · 09/08/2017 12:39

The Superdrug seems to have a faint but I'm just curious as to why my period would be late x
