Question about day 21 blood tests

How important is it that these are done on day 21? Had them done last month on day 20 (as day 21 was a Saturday) and results came back inconclusive.

Day 21 is a Saturday again this month so I was going to go on the Monday this time (day 23.) Not sure how accurate this will be.

Having them done on day 21 is only important if you have a 'perfect' cycle, whereby you ovulate on the 14th day and then your period comes exactly 2 weeks after that.

Unfortunately that's not the norm for most women. The test is supposed to be done 7 days before your period is due so that could be any cycle day really! You have to work out the right day for your cycle. Hope that helps

My doc told me to aim for 7 days before AF, which is CD 17 for me! Though that's a Sunday this month, and I'm away on Mon, so will have to go on CD15. Not holding out much hope that it will work this time!
