I promised myself I wasn't going to do this .......but here I am Confused
I'm dpo 14-15, I think. Opks weren't hugely helpful this month, but I get ovulation pain due to post endo surgery adhesions, so I've a rough idea.
CD1 was July 12th, ovulation was July 22nd or 23rd. My LP is 14 days, so by my maths AF is one day over due, although the app I use reckons AF is due Wednesday. I've been poas since Thursday and getting very faint lines. The lines don't seem to be getting any darker, in fact they might be getting fainter. The photo is this mornings test with (very dark) fmu. I was hoping for a stronger line.
Any advice, personal experience, advocacy to be patient, or just distraction would be greatly appreciated Smile

I see it!

CashelGirl · 07/08/2017 07:30

Well, it looks like a pretty clear line to me..... sometimes the intensity varies depending on how concentrated/diluted your wee is. I would try a digital test. Good luck.

ilikepinacoladas · 07/08/2017 07:31

Same happened to me. Try a blue dye test, for some reason we don't all set off the frers very well!

Vicsteur81 · 07/08/2017 07:41

Thanks guys. It really helps hearing that I'm not imagining things. A digital is a good shout. I might grab one* today and try that tomorrow

I see it, definitely worth getting more tests to check it out.

MouseLove · 07/08/2017 08:18

A line is a line but I would wait until Wednesday now. Congratulations!!

candy1986 · 07/08/2017 10:31

I can definitely see it x

sourpatchkid · 07/08/2017 10:40

I can see it and I NEVER see these things

Finch82 · 07/08/2017 10:55

I used a test just like this one on Saturday morning. It showed virtually nothing-nothing as strong as yours-just the hint of something which I ignored and I decided it was negative. I then did an ov test and it showed big positive. Later, I looked at the PT stick and there was a more distinct line (about the same as yours in pic). I bought Clear Blue next day and I'm 2-3 weeks pregnant! Try another test!

SydBound27 · 07/08/2017 16:37

There's definitely a line! Congratulations Flowers

ohherewegoagain · 07/08/2017 21:16

I would say that's a positive test. Good luck x

Vicsteur81 · 07/08/2017 21:35

Thanks lovely people. I may have done a clear blue digital this evening which turns out to have been a bad idea. So obviously I also did a frer the photo is at about 9mins. There was barely anything at 3mins.

I should sit on my hands and try and distract myself should I!Blush

The digitals are not very sensitive - you have definite pink lines on the FRERs so you are pregnant! Congratulations!

MynameisJune · 07/08/2017 21:39

Clear blue digital aren't the best for early testing, try again with fmu on Wednesday and see. I know it's hard not to test but if af does arrive it's going to be much worse to deal with than normal. Hope you get a good clear positive soon.

Vicsteur81 · 07/08/2017 21:47

Thanks @McTufy and @MynameisJune I am definitely going to sit on my hands for a few days!
I promised myself I wouldn't do this, but it seems that's easier said than done. I really appreciate everyone talking sense to me. Flowers

Don't use a digital unless you've missed your period. There's no point before. If I'm honest I wouldn't test again now for a week or so. There's no rush if there's no AF. You have a positive test. Enjoy!!

Orlandointhewilderness · 07/08/2017 22:03

i can see it very clearly. everything crossed for you.

FourForYouGlenCoco · 07/08/2017 22:10

Well right now, you're definitely pregnant. Very obvious lines on all the FRER pictures. Digitals aren't as sensitive, but I reckon if you try a digital with FMU in the morning you'll get a pregnant result. Don't stress about the line darkness - lots of factors involved. And congratulations! Flowers

I have some really light spotting today.
My app thinks I'm due on tomorrow. If the app was right I shouldn't have had a bfp on Thursday (3rd), I would only have been 7dpo (I think I was 11 or 12 dpo).
So at the moment I'm feeling like it's probably going to turn out to be a chemical. I'm really not very good at this waiting game.

Finch82 · 08/08/2017 11:33

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Vicsteur81!

Finch82 · 08/08/2017 11:36

And I'm sorry for telling you to do a Clear Blue and it giving you that disappointment! I can still see all your pink lines on the others! I think I was already 17dpo when I did my test so it's still really early days for you!

Vicsteur81 · 08/08/2017 12:19

@Finch82, don't apologise at all and thanks for the fingers crossed, mine are too.
We don't have any control over these things. I think I've just been waiting so long to start ttc all the bottled up crazy is coming out at once. I don't really have anyone to talk to about it at the moment, my DH is wonderful but he is in it too, sometimes you need someone a step removed. So I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all you lovely internet strangers being there, being supportive, sharing your stories and being the friends I need right now.
I've been so up and down this morning, the next few days hold the answers. In the mean time I'm just hugely grateful to have somewhere to vent.

I remember those days - must have spent over a hundred quid on pregnancy tests! I hope you get some good news over the next few days.

Vicsteur81 · 09/08/2017 09:47

Oh god @CashelGirl I dare not add up how much I've spent! Shock

AF turned up today, so looks like it was a chemical. Hey at least I know we can make a bean, now we just have to work on getting it to stick. Small steps.

I've written myself a chart for next month which very specifically tells me when I can poas! Hopefully that'll keep me in check. Grin
