Going slowly mad over missing AF

Help! I am driving myself crazy over missed period. Am now at least three days late. Periods always on time before DD was born. I had a miscarriage a few months ago that took ages to clear up. Have had two periods since, all fine. Now this. Have done five negative tests in the last four days. The last one was a Clear Blue a couple of hours ago.
It feels like I will never get pregnant again. Now really worried that there is something wrong with me. I'm over 35 so now worried that it's the menopause.
No pregnancy symptoms as such.

You sound really stressed, and unfortunately, that is the number 1 thing that can delay af! There are currently 3 threads started today about this exact thing, so you can see it is a common thing and nothing to get yourself worked up over.

I am very sorry for your loss.

Do you track ovulation? Generally if ovulation is late, af will be delayed by the same number of days as the time between ov and af generally stays the same.

It take a bit longer for some of us... I'm on 16 months ttc #1.

Stress can knock your ovulation date off kilter. I recommend TCOYF by Toni Weschler, really useful.

Is this your third period since your mc? I am really sorry Flowers

I had an mc earlier this year. Period came back 1 month after erpc. second period came back on time as well.

Third period never came. All kind of thoughts went through my head like yours. After 2 weeks of waiting I started getting quite stressed as I knew there was no chance of me being pregnant as we didn't have sex that month!

Anyway my period was due on the 1st of July and came on 23 August. And all appears to be on track now. Periods have always been on time for me too before my son was born. I totally understand your frustration as am 35 this month and also thought all kind of terrible thoughts. I have read that it can take a while for periods to be back on track after an mc.

If there's a chance of you being pregnant then wait a week to test again. Good luck x
