Weird periods after miscarriage?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has experienced this at all?

I miscarried 2 months ago. First period was 4 weeks later and exactly like all my periods are, heavy and following the usual track (sorry for the tmi)
This time however is bizarre. 3 days of light bleeding, enough bright red blood to know it's definitely a period though. Then it stopped abruptly last night. No spotting or slowing down, just stopped. Then just now 24 hours later, bright red blood again?
I've had 2 previous miscarriages before this and I definitely don't remember this happening before! I've taken a first response test today just incase and that was negative so definitely not pregnant!

I'm sure it's just hormones all out of whack but I've certainly never had one stop for over 24 hours then start up again!

So sorry for your losses Flowers

I've had 3 mcs and been lucky my periods have come back quickly after each one but they've definitely been different for a few months. No such thing as normal and I think it's just hormones being out of whack as you say. If you know you're not pregnant and feel okay otherwise I'd try not to worry too much and just ride it out and expect things to settle.

I haven't had what you describe but have had a couple that were much much heavier than normal but then ended very suddenly. I've thought about it as 5 or 6 days worth in 48 hours so not amazing at the time but very efficient!

Hope things settle for you and you get a BFP soon.
