Ovulation after coming off pill

Hiya.
I am hoping for some advice. My fiance and I are ttc and I came off the pill 27th July and I had a withdrawal bleed 31st July-1st Aug. I want to know when i will start to ovulate? I was on cerrazette for 13 years so worried about lasting effects on my cycle. I was regular before taking the pill and I'm taking vitamins for conceiving.
I'm sounding impatient lol but I'm almost 30 and I've waited soo long to find the most amazing man, a baby would be the icing on the cake

Hi OP. I was on the patch very briefly and I got a proper period exactly a month after removing it. I think the stuff in contraceptives can take a month and maybe more in some people to properly leave the system. Overall I would give yourself 3 months for your cycle to regulate. You can also try temping to give you an idea of when you have ovulated and OPKs while help predict when you will ovulate.

@choccichops I'd be interested to hear people's experience with this too! Had my first day off the pill on 1 Aug and currently in my withdrawal bleed. Fingers crossed for us both getting back into normal cycles soon!

I came of cerazette end of May. Had a light withdrawal bleed about 2 weeks after then a 26 day cycle and my first "proper" period which was pretty light as well. Ovulation first couple of cycles has been pretty painful, way worse than period pain, so be warned about that. But I think I'm pretty much in a regular cycle again which is pretty good considering I didn't have a period in 8 years! Try not to stress too much (easy for me to say) it's different for everyone but I was panicking and it's not taken as long as I thought.

It took me 50 days to get my first AF after stopping cerazette. My cycles were very irregular but I ovulated on my second cycle. I was pregnant by the third cycle. I unfortunately miscarried at 10 weeks but my cycles have calmed down now after. I would use OPK and try to have sex every other day from period end to start if you can. Good luck!!
