How long do i wait?

How long do i wait until i take a pregnancy test? My perios was on july 1 to july 5. Then had some brown spotting from july 18 to july 24. Which is a week after my period. Next period was to be on the 29. Took pregnany test on august 1. Came back negative. How long do i wait to test again?

Are your cycles usually regular? Also the brown spotting seems to have lasted quite long, could it have been a very light period. If you are regular and definitely late then you could test again today to be fair.

They have been regular. Coming on the day it was expected or 1 day later or 1 day before. Unless that makes it not regular. But is it ok to have 2 periods in one month? Also so close to each other?
