Would suggest you not use this any more (home based tests like this are not all that reliable) and ask your GP for a referral to a gynae instead.

What are your periods like - if they are very irregular this can be due to hormonal imbalances which can be treated. If they are irregular and or very painful it is best to seek help sooner rather than later.

The GP may or may not want to do tests on both of you before the referral to a gynae.

hi my friend babymadwithbump got pregnant using this method the first time she used it i think she passed on to me to use (as you can obviously clean it) but ive never had a positive result off it but my cycle is messed up though.

thanks for the replies, i just am not seeming to have any luck. Atilla i have always suffered heavy periods and my cycle is always about 35 days is that not normal, or at least in the normal region?

Hi Pepperpots

I would try to establish the cause of the heavy periods particularly if this is a long standing problem.

A 35 day cycle if consistently of this length is at the tail end of a regular cycle - a "normal" cycle is a cycle length of between 21 and 35 days or with 4 or less days of variation from month to month.
