EWCM two days before period due?

Just wondering why I would have this so close to af being due? I poas two days ago and it was BFN so don't think it's a sign of BFP...

It was for me... How many dpo?

12/13 DPO - I think. I had static smiley on 19th.

Well I say test again :) still early days. I didn't get my BFP at 10dpo. I got mine at 13. Didn't test in between time. But did start getting EWCM. I think it is a sign, as usually it dries up before your due!

Thanks for the reply. I'll poas tomorrow morning. We did dtd the morning but pretty sure it isn't that. It does seem a bit strange as I don't normally have it so close to af. I'll update if there is anything to report

I used to wonder if CM was leftover "swimmers" but I read that swimmers actually sort of dissolve in water where as ewcm still remains stretchy even when dropped into water.

I always get EWCM just before AF, so I think it's very specific to the person what it means

Af arrived last night so not a sign for me but thanks for the reply anyway Onto next month... x
