When did I ovulate?...

Morning all. My temperature has gone up from yesterday morning (97.2 to 97.9) so that would indicate I ovulated in the last 24 hours. However yesterday my OPKs changed to negative, ewcm disappeared and my cervix was hard and closed. I was confident that I and ovulated on Sunday when I got the second day of strong positives on the OPKs and I could feel ovulation pains on my right ovary area.

So Sunday temp was 97.2, Monday was 97.2 and then today 97.9...so thankfully I have ovulated but I just don't know when. I was sure it was Sunday but now I'm confused. I last DTD on Friday so a bit worried it was too far from ovulation.

Any temp/ovulation advice would be great. Really confused as to when I actually ovulatedConfused

I think your temp increase is after you've ovulated. So this month I o'd on cd 17 and my temp went up a little bit on cd 18 and much higher on cd 19. So I would say you o'd when you thought you did!

Thank you for replying. I thought that temping was the best way to determine but I feel it's just caused me more confusion. I suppose temping tells me that yes I have ovulated and then the OPKs just say that I am about to. That period of time in the middle is i suppose the unknown and can only ever be guess work as to when exactly it happened. I'm going to follow my gut and believe it happened on Sunday afternoon/night. Perhaps my temp was slow to rise and not instant as I thought it had to be Smile
