I was wondering if anyone could help – I came off the pill 7 months ago in order to try for a baby. Getting my period back was not easy! It took four months for my first period, then 5 weeks later I had my second and then 9 weeks later (!!) my third. As a result I have no idea when I’m ovulating which is not helpful and an added stress on top of trying to get pregnant. I’ve been trying to pin ovulation down with ovulation tests. Yesterday I had a low fertility result using the clearblue digital ovulation kit and then this morning I had a static smiley face showing peak fertility! I also had some egg white sticky cervical mucus (sorry – tmi). However, I suffer sometimes from bad sleep and last night took a phenergan tablet to help and now I’ve read that you can get a false positive in pregnancy tests as a result of taking Phenergan… do you think it could therefore affect ovulation tests and cause a false positive? I ran out to buy some of the cheapy boots sticks too and also got a positive. Afraid of letting myself believe I could be ovulating when it could be the drugs!
