MIscarriage or Heavy Irregular period

I went off the pill In April. Since I have been tracking days of my cycle & last month used an ovulation kit.

In June my cycle was 25 days. This cycle it was 31. Last month I had no idea my period was coming so soon & didn't have much cramping & it last roughly 3 days & spotting to follow. This month I had heavy cramping for 4 days leading into my period. I took a pt on day 30 & it was negative. My 1st day of new cycle was pretty heavy & I experienced crippling cramps for about 1 hour that went away with hot pad & ibprophen. The 1st night I woke up & had to change my pad. At that time I had two blood clots about the width of a small golf ball. In the morning when I changed my pad it was also very full. No clots. I brushed it off as an irregular period & my body adjusting to being off the pill. I had various small clots after & heavy bleeding for 4.5 days. My sister mentioned I may have been having a miscarriage. I looked up the symptoms & they are similar.

Experiencing no bleeding but cramping currently. Any advice or thoughts appreciated.

Without a positive pregnancy test, you are not having a miscarriage. Your body is still adjusting to being off the pill and some periods are a bit different than what is 'normal' to you.

Some people test quite early (like 10 dpo) to catch chemical pregnancies, but without a positive test there is no way to know. Something like 50% of first pregnancies are chemical.
