Sorry in advance for not knowing all the abbreviations lol. Nexplanon was removed July 18th after having it for 2 years. During that time I had no periods and prior to the nexplanon I was irregular. Significant other & I were busy July 14th, 17th, 18th, 21st, 22nd & 27th. I have been experiencing a lot of different things going on with me however I'm chalking it up to my body adjusting to not having the birth control in anymore as I do not wanna get my hopes up. I've experienced a lot of fatigue, random waves of nausea, dizzy spells, frequent urination (although that could be my mind playin tricks on me), headaches, and gas. The past few days I have had mild cramping, a dull lower back ache and my breasts feel fuller. They aren't sore to touch, but 3 days ago I woke from a nap with what felt like a warm sensation in my breasts and a quick tinge in the left but then went away. Yesterday during a nap without a bra I fell asleep on my side but my breasts felt uncomfortable, not pain per say just an uncomfortable feeling. My patience is very thin so I did test today, it was not first morning urine but it was indeed negative. I also did have this discharge when I peed today, I've tried searching the internet but can't find much. There is no odor, itching or anything of that sort. Can anyone give me some insight? I do apologize for the photo, a bit TMI. I included one with and without flash.

I get that discharge when I'm ovulating, if that's any help?

Looks like typical egg white ovulation discharge to me. But I'm also getting that a lot now I'm pregnant too. Have you been doing OPKs?

Jesterstolehisthornycrown1 · 30/07/2017 00:03

I also get that discharge when ovulating and the pains in my Lower back.

RenaeG · 30/07/2017 00:22

No I have never done ovulation predictors. It was quite a big chunk so it indeed freaked me out some. Should the deed be done again? Hmm lol or are our chances good still? SO is working night shift Sad

That's cervical mucus and VERY normal. It's fertile and I would think that you are probably ovulating maybe. Coming off birth control can send your body into a freak out so don't worry if you're experiencing every symptom known to man, it's normal. I would wait for your first period to be safe and date a pregnancy easier. In the meantime, have a read up about your fertility, cervical mucus, ovulation and get to know your cycles. It will really help on your TTC journey. Good luck!

Also, sorry to sound rude about this but you're probably going to have to toughen up on the patience thing, the average TTC can be up to a year and beyond. If you're only 12 days off birth control it would seem that you might be gearing up to ovulate soon... that's if your body is playing ball straight away. My first cycle off the pill was 50 days. I don't think I ovulated. You will ovulate usually 14 days into your cycle if you have 28 day normal cycle. And you can get a positive pregnancy test 9 days AFTER ovulation. However I would not recommend wasting money on tests unless you miss a period.

If you're ovulating now then you need to have sex now I think? Or does the mucus mean you're not pregnant as you're currently ovulating?

I'm not good at this but always see the mucus as a good sign I'm not pregnant (definitely don't want to be)
