3 days late and negative clear blue digital

Hi ladies, I have joined today because I am confused over my late period.
I am normally very regular, every 28 days. Last time I got pregnant, I tested positive with a clear blue digital 2 days before my period was due.
Last month my period was 1 day late, which is odd for me.
We tried have tried to conceive this month around my ovulation.
My period is now 3 days late. I have had very sensitive breasts all week and I had cramping in both ovaries about 7ish days after we dtd. I have had had period like cramping past few days and no period. I have never been this late, last month was quite surprising, to be 1 day late.
I am getting my hopes up and I know I will be disappointed when my period comes.

Is there any chance I could be pregnant after a negative test today? Anyone had experience of this?

It's possible if you ovulated late, but you should be getting a clear positive on any test at 3 days late if you ovulated when you usually do.

Has this been a stressful month or involved changes in lifestyle? Could have been a late ovulation or anovulatory month.

I haven't been stressed no, no more than any other month. It's really odd.
I can feel period like pains now or it could be in my head. After my first negative test that I did on the first day of my missed period, I accepted it and started planning the fun times for next weeks trying to conceive and now I feel in total limbo. No idea why I would have such a late period and not be pregnant.

It happens all the time. I was once 3 weeks late due to an unusually active month.

If you get to about 10 days late, you can request blood hormone tests to be sure and see if anything else is going on.

I'm 36 now so could be to do with age. But I've never had a late period before last month when it was 1 day late so it's very unusual for me. I'm sure it's like you say - late period etc. Thank you, my mind is more at peace.

I don't want to throw a spanner in the works but you could also try a more sensitive pregnancy test. Clear Blue Digital tests, as far as I'm aware, test hcg levels of 25. There are more sensitive tests, such as First Response, that test levels of 7. It took a week after my period was late for a positive to show up on a First Response last time, let alone even trying a CB digital. Just something to try as if that's also negative, you can definitely write it off as just an odd cycle.

Thank you for replying. I am going to wait it out for a few days and if I've not had my period by Wednesday, I will test again with a first response.
I think it'll come tomorrow as I have sore breasts and cramps.

I was over a week late before I got a bfp with a frer. And my cycle is ultra regular. So wait a few days and try again.

Thanks. Well, still no period and still sore breasts and cramps. Bugging me because we were meant to be trying again next week and now that's delayed. Booo.

Just realised I'm actually 5 days late!

Still no period. Gosh this is so frustrating. I have sore breastsa and now feeling nauseous all last night and today. I'm worried there's something wrong. Giving it two more days and then visiting the doctor.

Have you taken another test zara?

I haven't yet. I keep getting period like cramping though. I will be 7 days late tomorrow. I might take a test first thing in the morning. Very frustrating.

Hello guys, I am new to this page and I’m having sort of the same problem. I’m now 16 days late which is rare and have done a clear blue digital 9 days ago which said negative. I did do it in the evening though and not first wee. I am not trying to have a baby just yet and so this is worrying me. However, I stopped taking my pill Easter weekend because i was turning into a monster with mood swings!!! & was getting constant headaches. Since stopping my pill Lucette I feel more normal. I’m using condoms but need to get back into some contraception soon as my boyfriend gets too nervous and does like to double up. But I still haven’t had a period I had a withdrawal bleed on the 9th May-13th May I didn’t count this as a period on my Flo tracker and am not sure if I should of? Should I be worrying I haven’t had my period? I don’t even know when I’m ovulating anymore as I’m so confused my boyfriend thinks my areola is bigger and there’s bumps too. I have also period like cramps but no period yet. I don’t understand what happens to your body after the pill really and have read so much stuff just need some advice really.
