Hello, this is my first post, not sure if I'm in the right place, need to help please.
We lost our little boy in April at 20 weeks 😔, started trying last month, I got a postive pregnancy test at 4 weeks but then started heavy bleeding a few days later, dr advised a early miscarriage, when we were trying I took the opks tests every day sometimes twice and were always negative! But I obviously must of had a postive at some point.

So now a month later we're trying again, this is ment to be my fertile week so have been bd, I've only taken a few of the ops tests as didn't want to get worked up about it, but still negative?
Do you think i should just forget them, and just follow my fertile days?

I'm still heartbroken And just desperate for this to be the month and be healthy

Thansk for reading xx

Sorry to hear about the miscarriage.

This has happened to me this week but my opk finally changed to positive! I was really starting to worry. I would recommend monitoring your cervical mucus as well. I think that the opk isn't always that accurate because you're only using urine from a specific time. So check if you have ewcm. Are you temping as well? That could help.

I've also heard of people getting pregnant and never getting an opk that's positive

First of all, so sorry for your loss.. I cant imagine how tough that is...

There are possibly many reasons why you don't show a positive on an OPK, you might have just missed your surge on the day, or you might have OV'd a lot earlier or later than you thought due to hormones being a bit all over the place after your experiences in April, for instance..

I guess you can go down the tracking all the signs route (BBT, CM, Cervix position and OPK) to try and get a sense of when you might be OV, or you could just pay no mind to all of that and BD till your hearts content.

I hope it all works out for you soon

I never managed to get a positive result on an ovulation test but have had three babies. Each time I conceived I'd got negative on the ovulation test but still have sex anyway.
