Hello everyone. TTC for 14 months now, have only had two late periods in that time, this month being the second. Two days over. Just did a clear blue test that said "not pregnant" but period is still two days late.

I'm being stupid to hold out hope here, aren't I? Tell me off please so I can deal with the disappointment and await my turn for a visit from the communists to the fun house.

Have you tried with a First Response test? And with your morning wee! Maybe this could be the way forwards as these are the most sensitive?

No, I have been trying not to POAS very often at all because a) I'm usually pretty regular and b) it makes me really anxious.

I haven't got any first responses, are they better? I thought the clear blue were but maybe I'm falling for advertising. I've got some generic line ones somewhere, I'll try one in the morning if period doesn't start.

The annoying thing is I don't feel particularly periody, I would have expected twinges by now. But equally I'm so overly focused on the whole area I might be halluncinating/repressing symptoms anyway.

This whole thing is making me INSANE. Also I have been tracking BBT but I decided to take a break from it this month to see if it helped in a mad magical thinking sort of way. Like the sperm might be toying with me and I could trick them this way???

First response are way for sensitive than Clear Blue Digitals - can't remember the exacts - but if you want to know for sure I would recommend that one!
