Ovulation tests - cheap test success stories

Heya guys,
So im new and still learning all the acronyms sorry. weve been TTC without stressing for 8 months without luck so last month started with the ovulation tests. I got the ov tests from ebay and havent had a positive yet, has anyone else here used them? Ive read alot about doing it twice a day between 10am & 8pm and not drinking for 2 hours before but do they actually work? Has anyone used them and had positives and what did you do?

I had positives with them testing twice daily, without doing too much. I think advice is not to wee for a few hours as well as not to drink so your urine isn't diluted.

How often do you use them and when in your cycle? Do you look for other signs of ovulation e.g. Cervical position or EWCM?

Also and I say this with hesitation a shame I don't want to worry you, but is there any chance at all you might not be ovulating? Is it worth chatting your temperature just to check?

However some people just have very short LH surges which get missed and I'm sure that's all it is for you! Good luck

Ill try the holding it in thanks! Ive been starting 4 days after end of my period so i can see if it starts earlier then expected. Its ok you not worrying me, ive thought of most thi gs i think. Actually been looking into thermometers this evening so i can rule that out.
