I've been TTC for 3 years Sad
Had surgery last month to remove ovarian cysts (I have endo) and was told by the surgeon that this has now put me in the best chance of conceiving as the cysts were probably preventing ovulation from taking place.

I had AF 2 weeks after surgery, right on time and normal. I'm now in what should be my fertile window but every ovulation stick is coming up negative. What does this mean?
I used to always get smiley faces when I was apparently not ovulating, and now they said I should be ovulating but all the sticks are negative!!! I have gluey cm which is really confusing me. Any ideas to what this means? Can you really be ovulating if all the sticks say over-wise?

You can ovulate with negative opks. But maybe your ovaries are still recovering?? With gluey cm you won't be ovulating now though... has it been stretchy or at least clear and watery?

So sorry you are living this crap...

Yep, I got a BFP with a straight run of negative OPK. You might have a very short surge during a time when you are not testing. Regular sex and lots of laughs. I'm still TTC #1 after my mmc earlier this year and so I wish you lots of luck!!!

The cm makes me think you are not fertile yet. If there's one thing I know about ttc it is that someone medical saying this is your month is guaranteed to make for a strange cycle. Just keep testing and shagging.

Sorry this was meant to say sticky cm!!

Had egg white type cm today. Very watery cm two days ago. I've been testing for the last 3 days and all negative. According to my cycle calendar, my fertile week started today. As suggested looks like I'll just have to get on with dtd and hoping for the best! x

Sometimes when I am keen to crack on it takes longer to ovulate. Give it another week (and have some grapefruit juice so you produce lots of ewcm). Best of luck.
