Confusing pregnancy test! Help!

Confusing pregnancy test! It said positive for at least 30 seconds then it changed to negative! I'll test again tomorrow. But has this happened to anyone before? Any advice? Thanks

Pee into a pot, dip and walk away. It will only be positive after the allotted time - usually 3 minutes. Do not take any result before that to be true. If it's truly positive then it would stay positive. Sorry!! X

I just told my friend about it and she said she had the exact same with her eldest, I just don't know what to think x

this happened to me once. cant remember the brand. i didnt want to be pregnant saw the bfp bawled my eyes out then it went negative. i wasnt pregnant.

Are you able to post a pic? it might be that the line is super faint but still positive maybe.

@dowhatyouwish I put my phone flash light up against it and still didn't see anything. I've chucked it now, this happened friday just gone. I was going to take a picture when it happened but I was in shock that it was positive, then by the time
I processed it the line had gone!

Generally a positive sticks around. I think it's most likely that a line "appeared" temporarily purely in the process of the urine/dye moving up the test and it's actually negative.

If it appeared before the 3 mins then it was never a positive. Sorry! That's why they say give it 3 mins. You need to wait for the result. Your urine will travel up and across the test area and the lines can turn all different shades just like an OPK. I'm sorry you were confused.

Sorry OP but it sounds like dye running down the test as it processes. Maybe try again in a few days? Good luck.
