What does this CM mean?

I'm about 5 DPO and I've just been to the loo and had stringy stretch cm but it's not what I'd call ewcm as it wasn't clear, it was more opaque and creamy in colour. I'm a bit confused as I had positive opk 5 days ago.

Thank you for any insight!

I positive opk doesn't always lead to ovulation, just indicates that you geared up to ovulate. No one can really know though... just dtd and cross your fingers!

The only way to confirm ovulation is by tracking your bbt, which will tell you a few days after you ovulate.

Thank you - do I need a special thermometer or is a normal digital one ok? I have never tracked bbt before. x

I'd suggest one to two decimal places. You are looking for low temps before ov and a sustained rise after ov. Progesterone causes a slight rise in temp. I recommend fertility friends who have loads of example charts, info on temping and the app calculates ov for you.

Thank you. I will have a look if this month isn't the month for me Smile

You may not have ovulated when you thought you did, or maybe you are about to ovulate again? Some people though when they're pregnancy their CM doesn't dry up after ovulation. Saying that, I think it's way too early to know if it's a lead up to BFP.

Goodness - can you really ovulate twice in one cycle? I've never heard of that.

Yes... unfortunately too early to test. Think I'll just about get to Friday before I cave Confused

That's how non-identical twins come out, from two separate eggs. I think that the eggs usually pop out roughly the same time though (could be wrong),but it's defo in the same cycle.

Oh yes... of course Blush

My Dad is a non identical twin. You would think I would know this!
