OPK - What is going on?

The top picture is from yesterday about 6pm, the bottom on today at 10.30am.
I have been trying to do the clear blue digital test but they keep failing. I got a circle on both Friday and Saturday. I tried twice yesterday and got nothing.
I'm currently day 14 of my cycle. I average around 27 days (last cycle was 27, before that 31, 25, so recently a bit more varied). My app thinks I should ovulate tomorrow.
I usually get pain mid-cycle which I believe is related to post-endo surgery adhesions. It seems to fall around the time of expected ovulation.
Do we think I've ovulated, not ovulated, am broken?
Any thoughts or advice would be gratefully l recived.

Daft question but did you take photos at the time recommended? I found that my opks were only useful as they could get evap lines/darken/lighten etc if I took photos at any other time than the 10 minute wait on the dot.

If you did and this is the case then I would assume that yeah ovulation has been but see what happens over the next few days.

Both photos taken bang on ten mins @MotherOfBeagles. I feel like every time I think I've worked out my cycle it shakes things up on me. I'm so confused and frustrated.

I disagree, I don't think you've ovulated yet. Neither test is positive. It is possible that you had a very short surge between 6pm and 10:30am, but if you normally pick up a surge I'd say you've not Od yet.

Is your Clearblue the dual hormone one or just the LH one?

I didn't ovulate till CD23, you're not broken, sometimes ovulation comes a little later. Keep on the OPKs!

Vicsteur81 · 24/07/2017 11:44

I've never seen a proper surge on an Opk @McTufty, but then I've only been at this a few months.
The Clearblue is the dual hormone one.
The 'ovulation' pains were Saturday and Sunday, all just a bit confusing.
I'll keep trying and keep my fingers crossed. I'm just frustrated that I seem to keep missing my window.

Unfortunately if you are using the dual hormones and haven't had a flashing smiley, it makes it less likely you ovulated already as those tests show the oestrogen surge in the lead up to the LH surge. I can only recommend you keep testing and DTD in the meantime in case your testing for whatever reason hasn't picked it up.

Do you monitor other signs e.g. CM or BBT?

Vicsteur81 · 24/07/2017 15:02

Thanks @McTufty, I definitely keep monitoring. I monitor CM but never really get a pattern. Need to start with BBT.

Sorry another question. I keep getting these "refer to instruction" results on clear blue.
Have I got a bad batch or could there be something else going on?
