I'm confused, what is this? Tmi but no pic!

Ok, so my cycle is roughly 32-36 days, on 8th July I had period, lasting the usual 5 days - nothing odd about it at all. On 18th had sex, 1st time in forever!

Then today I've had yucky dark brown mucus discharge with tinges of bright red blood. No pain, tiny cramping and breasts slightly tender (but they are tender a lot anyway).

I'm not asking could I be pregnant because if you have sex, there's a chance of getting pregnant. I'm just asking what's the deal with the mucus brown stuff? Never had that before.

Never experienced implantation bleeding with my 4yo, but could it be that? What else could it be?

I reckon it's either from irritation, hormonal change or possible ovulation spotting??? Sometimes these things are just a mystery. Sorry I know that doesn't sound helpful.

If you go for a while without DTD it could be after that a little bit of brown just is old blood. Could be from that. My DH is military and so we go long periods without DTD and when he comes home were naturally at it like rabbits and I get something similar to what you have described first few times after a long wait!
