Nipples becoming darker round the edge, and veins around them more prominent.

physicskate · 22/07/2017 16:47

Backache and really sore boobs (which I didn't normally get with pms). It turned out to be a chemical though... so maybe those were the first signs something was wrong? Ever since the chemical, my pms symptoms are different and more pronounced? Odd.

However pms and early pregnancy symptoms are identical because they are due to progesterone. By the time HCG is high enough to give symptoms just from pregnancy, you are many weeks pregnant...

jmscp2015 · 22/07/2017 18:39

Feeling exactly like I was going to come on my period! Grin unhelpful I know. But I did just know something was up! Lol

Sunshinesaz86 · 22/07/2017 18:58

First time darker nippes weeing more.

2nd time I felt strangely very dizzy one day realised I was duey period around then as it wasn't planned and took a test.

PlugUgly1980 · 22/07/2017 19:57

Finding what I considered to be an easy run, and then a leisurely family bike ride really really hard work. Knew instantly.

Extua · 22/07/2017 20:04

Heartburn with my first.

With my second I had an awful tummy ache and felt bloated. I just knew. Took a test in the afternoon a full week before I was due on... bfp

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 22/07/2017 20:13

I had a headache for several days in a row. I never get headaches!

Couchpotato3 · 22/07/2017 20:14

Worst hangover of my life - lasted 3 days

SheSaidHeSaid · 22/07/2017 20:26

I usually gets spots on my chin just before I come on, I didn't. I was also extremely tired.

TonicAndTonic · 22/07/2017 20:28

Absolutely no signs or symptoms at all until my period was late!

hellomarshmallow · 22/07/2017 20:31

Same as pmt but with a different feeling of tiredness. Really heavily knackered.

eubyru · 22/07/2017 20:35

Tiredness and sore boobs that's all . No cramps or anything

accidentalgrownup · 22/07/2017 20:39

Went off booze 🤣

NoWordForFluffy · 22/07/2017 20:41

Feeling coldy; being bloody hot overnight; having a raging thirst and weird dreams. The day before my BFP both times, a particular tiredness that I now know to be only felt when in early pregnancy!

Windbeneathmybingowings · 22/07/2017 20:43

Hugely tender boobs to the point that even the wind would hurt them! And I found my arms got very tired from really menial things. Driving, lifting, washing up, all of those would make my arms ache.

lynzmb · 22/07/2017 20:58

Before I tested I had dizziness and extreme tiredness at work. Also a weird lump in my throat, almost like heartburn but not quite. Every little thing had me googling symptoms.

AmyB1986 · 22/07/2017 20:58

Dizziness, tender boobs, veins showing in my boobs, cramping and oddly I loved the smell of the cif cream cleaner. Got the bottle out several time just to sniff it!

DeathByMascara · 22/07/2017 21:03

Fake period - around when I was due but it never came to anything. First time I just thought I'd had a light period, got a positive a couple of weeks later then sadly miscarried. Second and third time it happened, I knew I was pregnant as we had been trying.

DearTeddyRobinson · 22/07/2017 21:10

DC1: horrendous dose of thrush Blush
My normal gym workout was much harder than usual.
Started bleeding the day my period was due, then stopped. 2 days later I twigged and did a test
2nd pregnancy (ended in MMC): insatiable appetite- had a curry at 11am cos I couldn't wait for lunch!
DC2: waves of utter exhaustion. Finding the walk up the hill with the buggy really tough all of a sudden.
Feeling like my period had started, kept going to check but nothing happening. Tested the day AF was due, bfp

ButtMuncher · 22/07/2017 21:15

I had the most furious migraine about the time I must have implanted. I could barely see and had to get driven home from work it was that bad. I also felt freezing cold, something I rarely feel Confused

It was my birthday a few days later and I was on le vino, at my favourite restaurant - even though it wasn't making me feel sick I just had this feeling I shouldn't drink more than a couple of glasses and to this day I've never been so restraint either before or since Grin

Buddy14 · 22/07/2017 22:23

Needing a wee way
More than usual -

babysunshine20 · 23/07/2017 09:21

Thank you ladies :) It's interesting to read everyone's signs and symptoms. I have had a few of them already.
Not long until I can test xx

I agree with Kate that it shouldn't be possible to have enough hormone to have symptoms but not enough to show on a test. I've been pregnant three times (all ended in miscarriage) and every time I've had a odd tingling pain in my breasts about two days before my period was due that I've never had when not pregnant - but each time I've then taken a test and got a pretty clear positive.

silkpyjamasallday · 23/07/2017 12:06

Vomiting. It started pretty much the day after we conceived, I only took a test after three weeks as I realised I didn't just have a tummy bug (I never had regular periods so missing one wasn't unusual in itself), and early dating scans confirmed that I had started feeling ill from the first few days. And it continued for the full forty weeks Sad

IJustGotHitByADeer · 23/07/2017 23:01

I've never been pregnant but I'm ttc - getting a lot of these symptoms but so far nothing but BFNs. I have definitely cheered up since reading this. And I guess I'm not out until AF actually arrives Smile
