I got a false positive

I'm so upset, got a positive two days ago with one brand, then tried the next two following days and got negatives. I would say it was a Clear positive I'm so upset, even had a cry before work because I really thought I was pregnant.

It was from amazon their one step early detection 10mlu tests.

Awww @eubryu i feel for you. Im in the exact same boat. I had 2 faint positives on tuesday with cb, bfn on weds with chemist cheapie, bfn thurs with boots and a faint pos again on fri morn with boots (which then disappeared!)
Maybe your urine was more dilute using the IC? I wouldnt trust them tbh! Big hugs xx

That's the pics of my false positives. I've learned my lesson now. I'm only buying good ones and not testing till af is late

It's unlikely you got a true false positive. It sounds more like it may have been a chemical pregnancy.

Sorry to hear that OP. Heartbreaking. This month I'm determined not to test either, it's just so upsetting. Has your AF arrived now?

Have you come on? Only this happened to me, a positive then negatives for a few days after. It wasn't until I was 4 days late that I got another positive and now I have DD. These were the strips from eBay that come in a pack of 20 or something, so not expensive ones.

If you have come on it might have been, as pp said, a chemical pregnancy which is really shitty. Hopefully it'll happen for you soon

How do you know it's a false positive and not a false negative? I only ever used cheap tests and they were always accurate.

False positives are very rare from what I've heard.

It might still be too early to tell, even if the test itself said it was an early detection one. What brand test did you buy from Amazon?

I used the below, the line came up within a minute but these tests haven't got good reviews now I've looked at them so my bought a first response and got a negative.

I think it might be a chemical as I've had really and backache and cramps for 4 days now and my pms symptoms have never been this bad. When I got pregnant with my dd I had no cramps at all in early pregnancy so I just feel strange like I'm about to have a heavy af.

It does unfortunately sound like a chemical pregnancy. Sorry.
