Evening all, just looking for some advice or other stories, I'm 29 two girls both born 28/29 weeks. No reason spontaneous labours I was told. Just wondering what are the odds again?! Is there anyway I can be monitored better or am I just playing with fire? Youngest is 3 been talking about another. Did have my coil refitted 9 weeks ago to yesterday be told nope it's hanging out again so it's been taken out yesterday..... any chat would be great before I drive myself insane ttc again! X

No personal experience here, but I was a 28 weeker and my mum's first baby was born at 24 weeks, so after me, my mum had cervical stitches for my two younger brothers and they worked a treat - the boys stayed inside a litter while after the stitch was removed and were born at 38 and 40 weeks respectively. Given your history, I would imagine that something similar would be suggested to you. Good luck with ttc!

Quite possible. I have a friend who had all 3 of her babies at 35-ish weeks.

35 weeks would be a dream for me. Just passed the 30 and I'd be a happy girl. I am going to discuss with GP about what my options are as I did have a op 9 weeks ago and my gyne consultant was shocked I'd had two prem babies as there are things in place now to help with this. We did joke about this and say maybe it's the impatient girls maybe different if it was a boy. But then again 50/50 x

I had a 27 weeker and am currently 30 weeks with DS2. I'm classed as high risk and have scans every 2 weeks with lots of other apts in the meantime. I feel like I live in the hospital but it'll hopefully be worth it!

Thats brilliant go you! My first was 29weeks. I met with a consultant once with DS2 so dismissed me as I had a "liveable" birth as she called it.... and was told I'd know what to do if it happened again 😩 This gives me great hope that maybe if I am brave enough (desperate really) to have #3 il hopefully be better looked after xx
