Hi - I'm just wondering if any of you can give advice... Long story short, we've been trying for baby no 2 for 3 years with no luck. Our DS is 10, and hoping we might be able to enlarge our party of 3.

We'd stopped trying really, so wasn't paying attention to cycles, but I know from tracking before, that I am most regularly a 25 day cycle, ovulating mostly on CD10. My shortest cycle has been 19 days, longest 31. I'm 40 years old. Given all of this, do you think my late period is most likely to be due to infertility, or do you think there is any likelihood that I could be preg, but HSG hormone not strong enough yet?

We didn't have a hugely active month, but had sex on CD8, CD14, and CD23. So given today is CD35, what do you think my chances are? I don't need any false hope, but would like to know what people think...

In terms of symptoms, I have been VERY hormonal on and off since I was due really, or maybe around CD28-ish. I've been very windy (!), and the last 3 days my nipples have been very sore! I had what I thought was a pre-period headache the last couple of days, and thought I might come on today, but still nothing. nada.

Hoping to hear back, and thanks! X
