Is this implantation bleeding?

We have been trying for months (on and off for years but my partner had recurring illnesses & I have PCOS)
I had a loss 14 years ago but was young & naive & very unaware of what happened during this situation.
Cycle is regular to the time of the day on a 28 day cycle. AF due Friday through the night but on day 22 of have started with a light tan spotting in CM and a very light pinkish which would usually be start if my period and within twelve hours very heavy flow but I have no other symptoms and even at this stage would be expecting them to start. The "spotting has been on and off for hours over two days.
Just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar. I'm almost 32 and worried about menopause symptoms or health issues as this is first ever bleeding out with cycle.

Hi ladies, it sounds very similar to what I have been experiencing- brown spotting over the course of a few days with it last a couple of hours a day. I'm pleased to say that mine was implantation bleeding and just had a positive result today. I think the main thing I would say is trust your body, you know it better then anyone else and I knew mine wasn't an early period. Stay positive, fit and healthy and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you
