Swimming whilst trying to conceive

Silly question but does it impede chances of conceiving in any way? We did the deed last night and I got a peak fertility symbol on my clear blue opk this morning and was thinking of going for a swim this evening.

Separate point but I'd be interested to hear how people are getting on with the new clear blue opk. I got a low fertility symbol yesterday and then a peak fertility today - no 'high fertility' in between!

Thanks x

Why would it impede fertility? It's great exercise, which can only be good for both fertility and general health. If the sperm are up in there now water can't disturb them

Ttc can take a while. The best thing you can do is get on with your life as though it isn't going to happen any time soon.

I'm long term ttc and I'm off to Europes largest aqua park tonight, to throw myself around a giant inflatable in a lake. Honestly excercise is fine, don't put your life on hold until you've got those 2 lines! Good luck

Thanks for the replies. I know swimming is healthy and no doubt good for fertility in terms of general health. My question was more related to whether the chlorine and other chemicals in the water would interrupt my dh's 'swimmers'.

Probably a silly question Grin
