So only came off the pill 3 weeks ago after being on it for a number of years. Never had anything like regular periods in my life and didn't have anything while on the pill (best side effect ever in my opinion).

Anyway me and the partner have been quite enthusiastic in the whole baby making practice and I felt pregnant. I know, I know, stupid. Anyway I did a clearblue digital which came back as not pregnant. Fine. Sad but fine.

Since then my nipples have been crazy sore. Not the breast, just the nipple. They're constantly erect and I think that makes it even worse. Bras hurt, seatbelts are agony, and my partner has been warned to stay clear or else.

I want to test again but I know I'm being stupid. Please someone tell me this is my hormones settling down and to calm down and relax.

Anyway thanks for reading this, can't talk to anyone about this yet in real life other than my partner and he's always an optimist

Have you had a) your withdrawal bleed? Or b) your first period?

I get sore nipples around ovulation so it could be you are now ovulating?

Or it could just be that your hormones are haywire, or it could be you have fallen pregnant and you tested too early. Difficult to say when test would show positive unless you know when you ovulated.

Order yourself some cheapie strip tests online and embrace the compulsive overtesting Grin

Yes, time for a few days of serial testing. Good luck :)

Between coming off the pill and falling pregnant I had no kinds of bleed. But I've also heard people have those symptoms from coming off the pill. Anyway, my point was going to be. I didn't have any bleeds, meaning I didn't know my last period/ovulation etc. Could be that you're testing too early. Stick tests showed positive a week before digital, I could get a good positive on the stick and still a not pregnant on the digital

So I ended up buying some Superdrug tests which were negative. Still not had any kind of bleed and my nipples are still sensitive although not as bad! Currently half my wardrobe is out of bounds because nipples are too obvious under clothing.

It sounds like normal pms symptoms to me. You won't be used to it having been on the pill for years.
