Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anybody felt implantation and if so where abouts did you feel it and how did it feel?

I get period type pain around the time of implantation if that's what you mean?

RuncibleSp00n · 16/07/2017 16:31

Period pain here too. So much so that I went out to buy tampons and feminax, which obviously then didn't get used for the next 18 months Grin

YokoReturns · 16/07/2017 16:43

I suddenly felt like lying down and falling asleep except I was driving. It was weird!

Sazwest · 16/07/2017 16:57

Can I ask a question about implantation aswell please how long did the period pains last for xx

leighdinglady · 16/07/2017 17:14

Yes. It was exactly 9 days Post ovulation and I had a huge random period pain. Like a massive cramping. It only lasted about a minute or so. I even rushed to the loo to check my period wasn't just really early. I got my BfP the next day, despite my period not being due for another 5 days!

Sunshinesaz86 · 16/07/2017 17:28

With my last pregnancy it wasn't planned so no symptom spotting and I remember having really bad lower backache ache on a 50 mile drive which was odd as I do the drive regularly.

Two days later when I almost fell over from dizziness I realised I was due on around then so took a test and was pregnant. I do believe that back ache must have been implantation day.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/07/2017 18:38

Watching with interest as I had very real period cramps on Thursday (7/8dpo I think) and bad lower backache! Tests are still negative today (10/11dpo) but AF is due tomorrow or the next day..

Sazwest · 16/07/2017 19:41

@TheGrumpySquirrel I'm the same had period pains at 9dpo for all of 10-20 minutes probably not even that and again the next day then I've had nothing I will be 13dpo tomorrow and af due Tuesday and got bfn today. Normally when af is due I have spotting 3-4 days before and is been like that since I was about 22 (I'm 33 now) and I've got no spotting just very very sore boob/nipples so much we were out for the day and I asked the hubby to bring me home so I could take my bra off coz my boobs were hurting xx

Me!!! With my second without realising in the moment. Severe back pain that wasn't relieved by any drugs including dihydrocodeine. Just nothing would touch it. Hindsight showed it was pain from implantation. :(

Rhubarbtart9 · 16/07/2017 19:47

It was like someone was sticking a knitting needle into me! Happened with each pregnancy.

Rhubarbtart9 · 16/07/2017 19:48

a cross between a firm knitting needle poke and an excersise stitch.

Sazwest · 16/07/2017 19:50

Yes see I took painkillers and it did nothing pain was still there x x

imjessie · 16/07/2017 19:54

Yes I had a lot of pulling . I knew I was pregnant !

gamerpigeon · 16/07/2017 20:13

I had a spot of blood on the Thursday night (burst into tears as thought it was my period) then on the Friday I had about 1-2 minutes of period cramps. I thought at the time it was just my period as I thought it was way too late to be implantation but actually my cycle was really long that month and the dates work exactly!

MaryWortleyMontagu · 16/07/2017 20:17

Yes I did. Period pain for a couple of days around the time of implantation.

sadmum2017 · 16/07/2017 20:19

I think I did. Had period style cramps and a pulling sensation as mentioned above. It was odd and I knew there was a possibility that I was pregnant at that point.

choccybiscuit · 16/07/2017 20:23

At around 9/10 dpo it wrote in the ovia calender, fluttering/nerve pain on right side of uterus. I did fall pregnant that month and baby was on the right side of uterus in early scans.

Thecatsmother17 · 16/07/2017 20:28

Yes I did. I spent one evening in bed with painful period type pains with some stabbing pain mixed in. I posted on here and got told it was too early but sure enough I tested positive a couple of weeks later!

ibuiltahomeforyou · 16/07/2017 20:28

On the Monday I was at work and had a weird, painful 'surging' feeling like a sharp period pain. I came home from work and my DH found me asleep in bed - I was suddenly knackered. I got my bfp that Friday!

My DD is now three months.

AmyB1986 · 16/07/2017 23:04

I had pains right from ovulation when I conceived. I remember them being worse around 9dpo, I remember because my brother was doing a gender reveal that day for his twins. Went to buy tampons thinking my af was imminent but it was a no show.
Almost 27 weeks now

mistletoeprickles · 17/07/2017 07:27

I did with DD, it was a horrific pinching pain on my right side and exactly the same for my second pregnancy with unfortunately ended in a loss.
I'm currently 36 weeks and did not get a thing this time.

tumblejumble · 17/07/2017 07:51

I'm 5 days post ovulation so if I am to implant it would be anytime from Wednesday to Sunday so fingers crossed I feel something.

With my dd I got small implant bleeding which looked liked a pin prick when wiped and that was it.

cottoncandee · 17/07/2017 12:47

I had implantation bleeding and then few days later started feeling queasy and was easily tired.
