Anybody get pregnant as soon as they came off the pill? Advise please!

Hi everybody,

I know the chances of me being pregnant already are so so low, I never realised how much of a challenge it can be to conceive until I joined this forum, you ladies are incredible with how passionate and determined you are ttc your little ones!

However I need some advise because Im driving myself mad! On Thursday 6th June I took my last pill mid pack and DTD with my partner Friday, Saturday, Sunday. My withdrawal bleed showed up Monday as it always does if I ever stop the pill and is just finishing today (I know Im unfortunate to always get 5-7 day withdrawal bleeds.. gah!).

Anyway I was just wondering if it is possible I conceived prior to my withdrawal bleed or would this bleed not have shown if I had?

I just want to know so I can either tell myself Im going crazy with all this symptom spotting and relax or I can get myself a test next weekend just incase.

It's possible. I didn't even have a bleed in between but it is uncommon as far as I'm aware. No way to know until you test. Good luck!

It's possible. I conceived straight away once I stopped taking the pill. It was a bit of a shock as I had mentally prepared myself for it to take a while as I'd been on the pill for so long.

@PastysPrincess did you have the withdrawal bleed still?

I did have withdrawal bleeding but it's only very slightly. I know of someone who bled all the way through her pregnancy so it's not necessarily a indication of anything.

I would say no you can't get pregnant if you still hd the withdrawal bleed.
