Help!! 8 days late and spotting!

Hey everyone I am currently 8 days late and on day 38 in my cycle, my cycles are usually 30/31 days. This morning I had some cramping which felt different to usual period pains and when I wiped I had a very light pink discharge, I honestly thought I was starting my period, but now it has stopped so very very confused!
I did take a test on Sunday and it had a very very light cross that came up within the two mins, but I thought you only got a positive once implantation has happened if it actually has happened that is!!
I also had unprotected sex with OH two weeks ago tomorrow.

I'm going to bump this and hope that someone replies so I've just done a test and it says not pregnant could the bleeding I experienced this morning he implantation bleeding? Should I try again in a few days? I've been checking throughout the day whether I've come on or not and the bleeding has stopped

Was I the a clearblue digital? They need quite a bit of the hormone to give a 'pregnant' reading. The first response early ones seem the most reliable in the early stages.

I used a clear blue non digital one, just very confused at the moment with it 😞😞
