Nubian Symptoms seem to have calmed down a bit now which I'm hoping isn't a bad thing. The day before af was due I could barely stay awake and felt like I was going to be sick all day. Have had on and off nausea and have just been really tired. Seems to be worse later in the day

BFN here today so I'm guessing it was a false positive, which is infinitely better than the thought of another chemical pregnancy (but still a little disappointing that it isn't an actual BFP). Onwards and upwards to next month as soon as AF arrives :)

My cycle is sooo confused. I felt I had a bit more cf than usual so did an opk just for the hell of it and got a fecking smiley face. On cd 28. Wtf! And husband has literally just flown to Amsterdam for a stag...

He'll be back tomorrow night - think it will be too late by then?

Ovaries there is still time. Fingers crossed for you. Syd I seem to get a spike in my LH surge before a period. It's really really bizarre as I know I ovulate around cd14 which is usually confirmed by an opk. Interesting thing the female bodies

Syd I've seen posts about people getting a positive OPK when they're pregnant. Not sure how accurate that is but could it be true?

Thanks @ovaries and @nubian, just shows how messed up it can all be! I have been doing opks almost daily since cd10 and all negative, plus I've had some funny dragging feeling in my lower abdomen so think I might just be ovulating late. Won't hurt to try and jump the husband when he's back...

I've never done opks close to af so could be that too!

MC in April this year (cycle 9) at 8 weeks
Aged 44
Use One Step strips which never show ANYTHING

and basically confused by everything TTC-wise.

Any advice on what to use to check levels?

Oh and I'm using Zita West supplements and Inisotil

I have no experience of One Step strips. I use clearblue and find they are pretty reliable.

Karpuzkiz I will keep my fingers crossed for you ( and everyone else) would be great to have more bfps!!!

Welcome Can. I use one strips. Work fine for me. Opk shows positive when I ovulate.

Hello - my stats:
Ttc 2nd DC
Miscarried DC twin in 1st pregnancy
Cycle 6 or 7 (?)
Cycle day 34 (previous cycles have been 40+ days long except one. Luteal phases under 10 days)
Use opk strips and Clue to try and give me a clue!
Breastfeeding our toddler
Mid 30s

It was negative I feel like I can see the faintest faintest line but don't know if it's my tired eyes desperately looking for one. I'm not due AF until Tuesday so perhaps it's still too early although it was a FRER so I feel not.

But my boobs are huge! My boobs have never changed, ached or hurt around AF but my husband was like woah look at them they are so full and are really tingly. So now I'm scared my body is just playing tricks on me?! At least I can have a drink tonight now and not feel too guilty I guess. Will try testing tomorrow and Monday I guess.

Anybody else drink in 2ww?

Hello! I'm probably joining this thread prematurely as I'm only just about to come off the pill, but wanted to get in on a ttc thread! I'm more likely gunna be a September BFP than August!
I'm nearly 28
One DD, almost 2 and a half
Would like a 3 year gap between dc's and would love a summer 2018 baby!

As I say I'm still on the pill but stopping this week. No idea what my cycles will do but when I came off last time I went straight back to 28 day cycles like clockwork! Conceived on second month. I also love seeing the BFPs come up for everyone :-)

Karpuzkiz can you post a pic of your test? Maybe there are some on here with 'line eyes'. You know the saying...its not over until af shows. I have a glass of wine or so during tww. Nothing excessive though. Baby only share your fluids at 5 weeks.

Karpuzkiz - what Nubian said! Not over yet, don't worry. Still time for a bfp.

I use the cheap one strips as opk (from Amazon - about a fiver for a million / can't remember exact price!) and they work fine for me. Also you don't worry about wasting them as they're so cheap! Have had a positive every month when using them.

Not much chance for me this month as I've been ill and only managed to dtd once in fw - oh well better than none. Was half expecting it to be zero chance this month!

Waiting for o pains later today; had positive opk past 2 days and ff put o day as today.
