Really confused about how far I am, my lmp was 3/5/17. I had unprotected sex the 9th, 12th, 16th (protected) and 22nd. I got my cb digital positive 1-2 weeks on the 9th June. I had an ultrasound on the 5th July saying I was measuring 6weeks and 4 days but by my lmp I should be over 9weeks. Could I have just ovulated late?

LMP and due date is calculated on a 28 day cycle.

So if your cycle is dead on 28days then dates can be different.

The 12 week scan is the most accurate scan for dates so date may change again.

I'm really sorry that you're confused. It may be that the baby isn't growing as fast as it should OR more likely you ovulated late. I think the latter makes more sense in your case. Please ask your GP for some advice if you are worried, but I really think that you probably ovulated late, the dates work for you. Did you know that your baby will be soooooooo tiny right now that they can be off by a few weeks at this point.

The sonographer didn't seem worried she said she thinks I'm just too early. Doesn't help my periods are irregular. Thank you x
