ChaCha · 14/07/2004 22:15

Great idea!
I'm 27 almost 28. Weigh about 11 stone (gulp), thats marriage for you! Have been very happily married for a few years - was diagnosed as having endometriosis last year, had a lap and extra surgery to remove it all, went on the pill. Started equivalent to Clomid (Tamoxifen) about 5 months ago (maybe more) and just hoping now that i get pregant very soon. Mumsnet has given me heaps of support over the last year.
Good luck to everyone x

runtus · 15/07/2004 08:28

Ok, you've persuaded me!

I've been lurking for a couple of months, wasn't going to join in but I get such comfort from reading everyone's messages, I guess it's only fair I share a little!

I'm 30, 11 stones.
Came off pill Christmas '03 after a grand total of 13 years...Been ttc no.1 ever since
Cycles vary from 27 to 37 days.
Originally didn't want to get scientific with ttc but am now charting, using opks, pillows under bum and even posting on conception message boards - who'd have thought it!
Gorgeous DH of 2 years who wants a baby too, but has no idea of just how obsessed I am with the whole thing!

Currently on CD29, 9 dpo

Tex111 · 18/07/2004 10:47

What a good idea!

I'm 33, 73kg but wish I was 65kg
One DS turning 2 in two weeks
Married to DH for 12 years. I was a child bride . DH is English and I'm Texan.
Been TTC No2 since April '04. Got pregnant first time but had a miscarriage and D&C in June. Waiting for first AF after m/c and then the BDing really begins!

xoz · 18/07/2004 18:44

Nice idea..... here I go
I'm 33 (just last week)
about 5'6", no idea how much I weigh (except that it's more than I should be - too much chocolate)
have 2 dd's ages 3.5 and 22 months. Been off the pill and ttc #3 for 3 cycles, not at the point of getting too scientific about it all yet. Hoping it will just happen like the last 2 times.
Fantastic dh of 10.5 years who wants 4 kids I thought I would be happy with 2 but apparently not - couldn't give away my Maternity clothes!

Tania2 · 27/07/2004 12:41

Well here i go...I live in Australia iam 27 on 15th August.Weigh 67kg. have DS 20mths fantastic supprise baby that we both addore greatly. was diagnosed with endometrosis & PCOS when i was 18 of course was told that it would be very difficult to concieve. been with my wonderful DH for 10.5 yrs and since diagnosis never used contraception. bought our first house together over 2ys ago and within a month fell pg. SUPRISE!! been ttc #2 since xmas.

malinki · 27/07/2004 13:26

An update CD29 OMG, see my thread on Does anyone suffer with.... and you will understand the rest, Ovulated CD19 and had many sessions with DH during that time.. So maybe / maybe not, the fact that I ovulated for the 1st time this month in 3 years is like someone telling me I have won the lottery.

Tania2 · 27/07/2004 13:52

Best of luck malinki i ov every second month this was the month fingers crossed.

Mirage · 27/07/2004 14:11

Can I join you.
5ft 7" 8.5 stone (wish I was bigger)35 years old.
Miracle DD concieved naturally after ttc for 3.5 years & had been told it was either IVF or adoption for us.Is now 11 months old,so its time for a brother or sister.

Don't know if I can have anymore babies,or how long it will take,as we never found out what the problem was.Had an ectopic pregnancy before DD came along, but still have both tubes.

I threw my pills away at the weekend,so lets hope it doesn't take another 3.5 years,as ideally DH & I would love loads of children.DH & I have been married for 7 years-sometimes I wish we'd met earlier,I feel like we're running out of time.

Bibi20 · 06/09/2004 10:11

Thought I'd bump this up as there are lots of new people joining and it would be great to know everyone's stories... plus it's a good way of avoiding doing any work on a Monday morning...

As it turned out Staceyk was already pg when she started this thread - I'm thinking it's GOT to be a lucky one!

Twiga · 06/09/2004 11:21
