After early miscarriage

I have just had what I think was a very early miscarriage. My period was a week late (which it never is) and I had two clearly positive, though faint, test results. But then I started spotting and a few days later bleeding, I did a test when the bleeding started which was negative. It was less than two weeks after my period had been due so very early.

The bleeding lasted about a week, just finished now and I am wondering whether I need to do anything? I haven't seen a doctor as I was not near my GP. Do I need any checks with a miscarriage that early to make sure nothing is left behind? Or can I carry on ttc now that the bleeding has stopped?

Sorry for your loss. Once the bleeding has stopped and you feel comfortable you can get back to ttc again. You could let your GP know then it'll be on your records.
